I have purchased a very tiny parcel of AHZ at 42c 2 years ago for the "Blue Sky" part of my portfolio which is full of emerging companies and start-ups that may require CRs along the way. This is all with money I can afford to lose.
In this case I'm glad that their minimum application is only $500 so I can average down without having to throw significant amounts of cash at them and don't have to pay brokerage.
If I were a large shareholder I would be livid though. This will be the last time that they'll get some cash from me in the near future. Management that tells me no CR needed and then only a short time after does one has eroded most of my confidence in them.
