I just planted some seedlings called Sweet Red Cherry Capsicums. All good to have plenty of stock but it does take time. I have 3 jars of cuttings on the windowsill still to plant.
They say growing heaps of mint around keeps mice and snakes away. So have had a pot on the deck and one near the shed. Have to say haven't seen either in ages. Since I've had the herbs outside I've noticed no mice. Probably a well-fed snake sitting somewhere laughing at me.
But I like the fact I see a recipe now and have most herbs on hand in the garden.
