Just one comment, literally dozens of others for those that bother to research, rather than bang away at the keyboard.
Incidentally one consensus from those that actually work in the operating RE industry, as distinct from those who comment on it together with those that float thought bubbles, was that the bulk of excess production has actually come from the large stockpiles of ore & concentrate that were discovered in the process of shutting down the 40 enterprises mentioned above. That source is finite, and reasonable expectation most of that stock has worked its way thru the system past couple of years, i.e. Nth RE produced circa 80kt 2016 solely from stockpile & tailings streams.
