2000 people a week applying...you are kidding me! How can there be an additional 96,000 people every year becoming disabled, unable to work?
Sure, there would be people with injuries from car accidents leaving them unable to work, some reaching 18 that have been disabled from birth and cannot gain employment due to some impairment, but not that many surely.

We can't even pay for Medicare, let alone adding a burden like that every year to the tax payer!

It is too easy in this country to rort the system, a very good move by our Government to ensure the tax payer is protected from the liars and cheats that don't want to work and who are quite prepared to steal money from the rest of us to support their bludging lifestyle...
