    If Djokovic intended to play in the AO, he either had to have the first jab by September to allow time for the second jab, or he had to have a positive covid test in sufficient time to recover. Serendipitously, the latter option crystallized. Fortunately, he had maintained his training and preparation to play in a grand slam tennis match.Unfortunately, we will not see how well his recovery and training had gone.
