    If they do that they'll be alot of humans running around with ticks, fleas, lice, scabies, and mange. People who have and treat livestock and take care of native animals, not to mention zookeepers and vets, usually get a (somewhat involuntary) dose of Ivermectin every time they delouse/drench/dip/treat their charges, which keeps the pests away.

    I strongly suspect if someone shows up at a GP clinic scratching and complaining about extreme itchiness, in certain places, the GP will proscribe Ivermectin pretty quickly and rush them out of their office ;-)
