He may well have unknowingly had his credit card used by someone looking like him and then unwittingly approved the transaction.
Or as you suggest he may not have realised the establishment was a brothel. Not enough wives realise what an easy mistake it is to make.
Either way the man is an innocent who should be allowed to carry on with his friends on the complex task of organising school halls, the NBN, mining tax and carbon taxes.
