Okay - and I have posted this view previously.

Craig as I previously predicted, would, in my opinion, be found not to be in the wrong. I said then that it was likely that he had acted within the rules of the union.

Now if someone operates within the rules then he/she is not guilty of an offence, at lest that is the way I would think it would be, and therefore (morality aside) the man has done nothing wrong. This is where the matter stands at present.

There have been numerous posts deposited in this forum over an extended period of time which have gone overboard in that they pre-judged the man, posters adopting the role of judge and jury. As things have panned out, contrary to the predictions, of many the man will no be found guilty of any criminal offence. The Union needs proper rules to ensure that members funds are properly expended, this fact does not mean that illegalities have occurred

The Liberals and their supporters really need to have a good long hard and solid look at themselves; Their principles and the way they operate. It will not be a good look, but it is essential that they do so in so far as their achieving their objective of gaining the reins of power. For lets face it, they are fast becoming "on the nose." There has been a litany of tactics employed to discredit the Government, and dirty they have been sex and all that! What the hell has who has been sleeping with who got to do with running government. It is a sign of the times and the Liberals are bereft of policies that they have gone down this path. A change of direction is needed as matter of National emergency.

Oh by the way. it is with reluctance that I ever lodge a complaint in here (all fair in love and war) - seek the assistance of the moderator. It is my observation that most Labor orientated posters/readers act likewise. They let thing slide. This is not so on the Liberal side, when any little excuse is used to appeal for a moderation.

I have been called Craig by some posters. Take note that I have in the past and will in the future regard any post which so names me as being a flame. I am adopting a hard line on this. If it happens from now on I will be asking for assistance, for the post to be moderated with the full expectation that my request will be met.
