Hello PHIL,
I noticed a posting that you made some time ago re qantas..It is most helpful in relation to the thread started by Alphasigma that was running parallel to this one.
It explains the PE offer to QAN and that a huge number of shares were held by hedge funds threatening to dump if the deal fell through. It helps explain Alphasigmas thread,imo.
PE does not sound too popular because of the intense cuts etc.Allco was a participant..in trouble now isnt it?
