His interview with Jon Stewart had the effect of sodium pentathol(truth serum) on Jim Cremer.Jon asked him why he recommended stocks like Bear Stearns & others which collapsed & destroyed the savings of ordinary Americans. In the Youtube clip he actually mentioned Agnico Eagle, probably the best performer in US/Can precious metals. Most of the time in past years ,Cremer acted as carnival spruiker for Wall Street & General Electric controlled CNBC. But there is one golden gleam in his past record. About 3 years ago he actually recommended Yamana Gold,then in the process of acquiring Desert Sun Mining. Like Newcrest when it was a $4 orphan , the shares of Yamana shot up quickly & never went back as it transited from unknown junior explorer to intermediate producer. It was interesting that Cremer has now picked up on Agnico Eagle.
