There has been a 12 per cent increase in the number of cranes on the skyline over the past six months, with Darwin leading the pack with a 44 per cent increase, followed by Sydney (27 per cent), Brisbane (15 per cent), Perth (11 per cent) and Melbourne (8 per cent).
