Ah now I understand, Socialist scammers seize power when there is disruption, not because it is a better model to deal with the issue.
The only argument you can make that socialism is better equipped to deal with the virus is when socialism shows it's true nature, in the form of communist dictatorship, they can enforce brutal lockdowns such as welding doors shut and making people disappear because they are unaccountable.
If this is your idea of a solution, I guess we're stuffed, raising royalties on mining are the least of my worries. I'll defend myself from the socalist/communist crims.
