But I operate on the principle of less government = good.

Why should mining royalties be cranked up just so they can pissed away by politicians?

It's time to get out of iron ore, too destructive on the environment so we move into high tech metals, and find new markets.
It doesn't matter what our mining royatlies rate is if the Chinese can corrupt our politicians.
