I'm more interested in how Saudi Arabia manages to be one of the top countries in the worls with respect to personal income and NO presonal tax. I am also interested in how Norway managed to accrue the biggest Soverign wealth fund in the world for a population quarter ours.
I am not interested tn Venzeuela because IMO Aussies are better educated (as good as the Norwegians) than the South Americans and we have great sense of national pride as evidenced by our participation WW 1, WW2 & the Vietnam Wars. We did not fight these wars to enable multinationals to buy out our soverignty and unfairly impact our democracy; on the contary we expected the opposite : to own our country and share its wealth with all our citizens. We do fantastic in sport but when we translate that into business we fail abysmally . (Cant bat, cant bowl!)
