The truth of the matter is that Indonesia has a royalty rate of twice that of Australia , a divestement program which compells foreign owners to divest at least 51% within 10 years of the start of the project and a corrupt regime that could add another few % to the royalty.
If Indonesian royalty was half ours,would you be advocating that we halve ours to be internationally competitive?
