Looks like Mr Wiseman is the wise man, sold at 2.2c. Maybe just good luck or was it foresight?
Looks like Mr Wiseman is right again. The new governor wants to be seen to be doing everything he promised when he ran for election. I'm sure there'll be plenty of pressure on him by mining companies, but the platform he ran on going into the election was for tourism and NO to mining. The new governor is now fulfilling his promise to the people who elected him.
Mining can be good for jobs as in Australia and South Africa where the land is good for little else. In Indonesia where the landscape is old growth forests and farming then mining is not wanted and is destructive to the environment.
Shortly GMC will be sitting with a brand new smelter and no raw materials to feed it. Possibly one or two mines will be allowed in the future as a token gesture to the mining lobby. That won't be enough Mn ore mined to feed the two furnaces let alone DSO and future furnaces.
The wise man is the one that sold at 2.2 cents.
