im not as smart as the average bear so don't take my word for it but I liquidated the lot into cash at a marginal loss

why? because i'm expectring the dow to correct down dragging the asx (which has already copped a flogging) down with it

i'd rather have my cash in hand on a slight loss than sit there at night wondering if some of my holdings will get so far down that I wont be able to sell them for months and months...

we're not in gfc, but a mate of mine who held through gfc is STILL holding half portfolio underwater waiting for the day he can re-utilise that equity...

markets are scared shitless and for good reason... 2nd largest economy in the world is stumbling like a blind drunk and will have to get itself into so much debt to rebuild that it boggles the mind... they'll end up having a higher debt/gdp ratio than the US in next few months...

    like gizard said today:

bargains bargains buy whilst market pannicking

    next day even bigger bargains

few weeks later "holy crap i'm down 60% where to from here?"

my sentiment is no faith in markets currently therefore am out
