whilst lotto is random anyone who thinks the market is random needs to evealuate their thinking IMO . years ending in 5 are 200% better performers than mean average , this is more than random to me . in fact this last 50 years the worst performing 5 year was 10% . dont try and work out why this aberration occurs accept it and take anvantage of it . the truth of the matter is the dow has not made new highs for 5 years and during that time it retreated 40% from the all time high so as you can see the "crash" has been and gone . if you look at it from a world view the DOW is still way down based on value relevant to USD . have a look at the USDX and you will see it is down over 30% from recent highs . this in effect has taken 30% value of any US asset without the price moving in USD terms . nothing is as simple as black and white . use your mind and assess the facts ctritically .
