12:42PM was the time to buy apparently.
Someone hit the button then.
Methinks anyone who wanted in sub 50c may have to wait-a-while.
If you watched the market close last night you would have noticed a large % of the day's volume, 37.75%, changed hands at 4:10PM and the entire 49c sell offering was wiped leaving the first sell offer at 49.5c which was a step up to the plate and unusual compared to what was offered during the day.
And Wednesday's close was odd compared to Aussie midcap oilers AWE, BPT and even SXY which have all fallen this week and BPT fell Wed' from 168c to close at 164c and AWE down 2.5c Wed' and SXY opened at 69c, closed at 67.5 but is back up to 69c today.
No doubt Brent crude price now at US$110.50 and the AU$ around US$0.92 would be one reason of course.
I did notice however Roc Oil announced we will be reporting only in US dollars now.
