To me it sounds like Prof Murray is not taking into account AI and how that has the potential to takes out many of the negative effects of an inverted age structure .
Robots and technology that can do many of the tasks of humans will I believe mean there is less need for home help for the elderly , AI will mean less pollution , less plastic waste less CO2 they do not breath nor do they need to use toilet paper ,
Of course a good news story will not sell as many news papers so Dr Murray is the one that gets his article written
