I was brought up with a dad who always seemed to giving away stuff to friends, family and donate to every community mob shaking a tin (mum was the yang to his ying).
I like to think I’m more like dad as I give plenty of fish away like yourself, wasteful to hoard to much product like fish that is best eaten sooner than later. Even more importantly, us that like to fish like to fish not necessarily eat it 3 times a day every day
Because of my scale of available surplus it was apparent that I needed to find a better way and a more needy group to offload.
In the end it is a selfish act! I’ll admit it! I get off on giving stuff away and the needier the recipient the bigger sugar hit I get
The bit that irritated me yesterday was they took a pic of me and I found out after that they were putting it into their monthly newsletter. I did mention that I wanted to be the Grey Man but the only concession I got was to keep my name out (I used zipperlip instead ).
Regardless of sizes of donations all are appreciated and worthwhile.
