The ability to switch thinking between both sides of the brain is interesting and it would be partly nature I would thing that nurturer plays a bit party. Studies have shown that mental stimulation in a child's early life plays a big part in the way the brain develops and connections are made.

That sets up the ability to take in information and learn, usually people stick to being dominate on one side of the brain or other but they can learn to sure the other side of the brain.

Can see that if you doing work that requires logic rationalising it would be difficalt doing the very creative stuff, when I have to do accounts I really need to be in the frame of mind and some times I am not.

You only create art if it gives you pleasure and satisfaction, like any thing, the more you do it the better you become
