I think it’s nice. It’s not always easy to talk to your parents about their death but I think it’s important and in some ways gives them permission. my mother had had enough. She’d had dementia for over a decade and was unable to speak though the one thing she said (her first words for years) when I asked her if she was afraid of dying was - of course. She died within minutes of me telling her she had been a good mother and was loved and she had permission to let go.
we’ve got a long way from art unless we are now talking of the art of loving !!!
