is this a language thing. You know that thing with the straight edge you use to draw a line. Do you call it a rule? I thought you’d just missed off the r. I see a rule as something somebody wants to make you do which is therefore something one can be tempted to break. (though I think I may have seen it used in your way)
Where as a ruler is either the straight edge of the person who tries to make the rules depending on context. George and Henry being a bit more erratic about their rules.
so what an interesting example. Didn’t @bige use the word ruler? I wonder what drives the difference.
