''yeah that line was used for the many caught up in the nazi and communist regimes. until it was their turn''
I think that's correct
if one has a level of crime and disrespect in a society - cameras are seen to be a good thing - and, they certainly can do good things
but there's a dark underside --------- a couple in fact.
1. is the obvious - they are a powerful tool and people with attitudes like Sahara just don't imagine that the camera will be used as a political tool against them
they only see the cameras looking for the bad guys. The problem is - what happens when the bad guys become the politicians - and use the cameras to control us.
2. there's another issue, and that's privacy and personal risk. Imagine if you want to take some very high value package, move it from one place to another.
You are known where you pick it up from. And you intend to take it and put it somewhere where no one knows what it is - you are just storing the package.
Think about it, take the time. Are you trackable? Sure, of course without cameras, you are physically trackable, but that's easy enough to work through. - But, with cameras on streets, security cameras in hotels and buildings -------- could you ever be sure that someone who wants to track you - could get access to your every move?
It's difficult - think it through as an exercise -and remember, you're doing something completely legal.
