From a share price perspective I think AMU has been in the dog kennel for the past 12 months or so.
No news? Well, if nothing to give so be it. They have commited to a weekly update so put one out regardless of what is happening.
Does the company gets boring from an announcement perspective? Sure - although at least as a change last week they found a dry well. However I am a believer, rightly or wrongly, that if they keep doing the right thing from an operation perspective this will eventually be recognised from a share price perspective. Operationally I don't think much has been done wrong of late.
Towner has a good part of his wealth, and potential wealth, tied up in AMU - so I think he wants what we want.
I'm still giving the company until around Sept / Oct to see what they do and how the SP reacts before I start sounding GT out about capital management issues.
