The only conclusion I can draw from that statement in the release is that 3M have advised OBJ they will keep them up to date with the progress of the testing and OBJ in turn will release this information to the market as it comes to hand.

I firmly believe that the product is too compelling for 3M not to investigate further.I am aware that 3M has their own proprietary drug delivery technology based on a microneedle platform however what if 3M's current & prospective clients' products are better suited to be delivered via OBJ's proprietary technology?

3M's clients will have diverse requirements re drug delivery methods & it would be in 3M's interests to "cover as many bases" as possible to maximise profits hence the need to assimilate OBJ's technology to compliment its own.

This, of course, relies on extensive testing of OBJ's technology to gauge what it is good at, which is what we are seeing unfold at the moment.
