Hi Forrestfield,
IMO the most likely merger would be Affinity and Evolve. Strong connections between management and shareholders in both companies. Kern Group, **rielle and Chris Guiffre and Stewart James all with vested interests in both companies.
Interesting to see Affinity building a strong marketing team. Newly appointed marketing manager, and now seeking a marketing coordinator, in addition to promotional videos added to their web page.
It would have been a mammoth task over the past eighteen months dealing with new acquisitions and looks like they are beginning to address areas of concern that may improve occupancy and lift the professional image of their centres. Some of the centres web sites require updating in addition to some of their facebook pages presenting as unprofessional and possibly in breach of their social media policy. A good media/marketing team will rectify this very quickly and improve the public image created within individual communities and hopefully this will improve occupancy levels.
The share price of both larger corporates has taken a tumble in the past week. Contributing, but not only, factors are the upcoming changes and proposed budget changes. It is an industry that reacts badly to uncertainty.
Rustic, good call on the share price last week.
