The us banks invested in secret credit defalt contracts around the world even as they were being bailed.
Basically there were investing in bad debt as they were being bailed out. Us banks become a credit garbage dump soon as banks were bailed out.
I know of one bank that did this by insuring 3 billion worth of debt.
This could amount to up to 2 trillion worth of losses in us banks.
