I went straight home and got checked my bank accounts, about $4k on Sportsbet and various sites from 1.30 to about 4 on the visa card. I rang my bank straight away and they cancelled my credit card and advised me that they will get the money back for me.

I can't speak highly enough of St George Bank for picking up the transactions and acting on them quickly.

It appears that the fraudsters are cranking up at the moment so be aware.

Did someone steal your physical card - how did this happen that they could use your account ?
Paywave is a problem obviously as no pin is needed for a transaction if a card is stolen .
