in all seriousness, what is your reservation with weatherproofing. As4773 permits single skin with an outer resistant coat/s, also refers to weatherproofing windows for single skin like any blockwork. The only thing I can think of is a dpc which according to the wording is required but only prevent rising damp which can't really enter depending on outer coat system. Maybe there's an issue with putting a dpc between load bearing blocks/glue in comparison mortar/reo but that's the only compliance issue that I can think of.
