Long awaited met testing results generally positive but some challenges

¦ Ampella has finally received and released the very long-awaited metallurgical test results for its ore at Konkera. All ore types show good recovery.
¦ Konkera is a low grade resource in West Africa. Met test results were the key risk to demonstrating a commercial project. These have now been delivered, reducing a significant risk from the project and from the stock.
¦ 30% of the contained gold is recoverable by gravity (a positive) and the balance by conventional metallurgy at a reasonable 106 micron grind size.
¦ Both oxide and sulphide ores show good recoveries.
¦ Test results for Konkera North and Main/East show very good recoveries after ultra fine grinding to 8-10 micron, or alternative treatment like the Albion sulphide oxidation process before subsequent leaching.
¦ Ultra fine grinding is only required for the floated sulphides and would be less than 5% of the initial mass and is estimated to contain 95% of the gold.
