re your thinking that "even for the likes of FJ whose av price is around 8c, even just at over at 20+c would stand to make say 100 mil, it must be tempting."
I figured that a guy like Tim Robertson would have:
a) a very good idea of what the asset FAR is uncovering is worth (yes a 'live' valuation)
b) a very very good idea of what someone else can be enticed to pay for it in the event of a third party offer
While that looks like a big number to you (forgive me for assuming there) and me (definitely), my observation is that the highly wealthy did not become highly wealthy by acquiescing.
Therefore I expect he would not be selling for under the odds just because $100M is a large sum.
But I could easily be wrong
