Given the events currently unfolding on global capital markets, Suncorp directors must be saying daily prayers that the sale of Suncorp Bank, to those hapless folk over at ANZ, does not fall over.
A more perfectly-timed deal (perfectly-timed for the acquirer, that is. For the buyer.... not so much) is hard to find.
