Many years ago in the British Open, final round, a Player was leading by one going down the eighteenth. From the tee he hit is ball into the deep rough. It took ages to find it. Eventually his caddy located the ball, but many remarked that it was not quite where it looked to have landed.

The Player recovered to win. Next day, clearing up the course a ball was found where the winners ball went into the rough. It was the same brand and number that the winner used.
