It is known that bitcoin is being used by criminals. For example ransomware.
Im wondering what effect the capture of criminals will have on the legal bitcoin market. It's normally the case that any assets are taken by the State . Ok, it would mean the crims being forced to give up their key ..... but if that means 10 years less jail then many would do so. Especially if they refuse and lose the ill-gotten gains as soon as they leave jail.
So .... thousands of bitcoin disappear from usage when criminals are caught. Does this impact the price ?

I guess it's similar to the situation where a holder forgets or loses the key or dies ....

There must be a finite market of bitcoin buyers. ... There's only one Elon Musk after all. Sooner or later everyone that wants a bitcoin will have one. And then ????
