SP recovers pretty fast when the commodity is on your side. The SAR incident was more horrific. The bogger fell down the stope. The SP pretty much was back to what it was after a week.

Mind you these coal mines are more notorious unfortunately... there was actually a Diggers and Dealers safety talk specifically to get the coal miners in line with the lower injury rate of the rest of the other miners. One of the main points of difference in the data is that coal miners looks to be in the older age range and more so in the east coast. A bit more prone to medical episodes and the like which is catastrophic when it happens...

Let's hope for the recovery of the people involved the SP can take care of itself sooner than you think...
