i think its interesting times ahead for the contract prices,for iron-ore. crazy to hear of satellite hire to spy on stock piles, and scouts in the field,to check on smoke stacks by the big iron-ore producers. this distrust of each other shows the the high price for control of this market.the long term contracts need to be supported by the chineese , if the spot market is able to grow,then they have lost control of pricing.i think this also shows that the media are only pawns in a game that , can only really be played by the big boys..critical mass is power. the world will always want steel.
