fair point nursery.... international competition for Aus consumers is devastating to Aus manufacturing. our wages are higher because they reflect our standard of living. Korean workers work longer and harder for less. and with this point the dilemma arises: should Aus workers be paid less and what value do unions provide when higher wages make manufacturing costs higher.
in the end it comes down to a willingness to support Aus industry. either through Gov supports or via consumers willing to pay more.
I don't know what the answer is but I appreciate the dilemma. I wish you well old feller.
