    haha "had any rent increase yet" Classic. Come on, my parents don't charge me rent, you know that! Actually they didn't when we just renewed, but we would have managed to struggle on even it they had. The rent we pay is less than the interest payments would be on a similar property, and we save more than the principal we would be paying, and our principal isn't falling in price like your houses.

    So assuming you are a property investor who owns multiple properties, a 10% fall would make a considerable dent to the overall value would it not? Or are all your places in suburbs that buck the trend. You sound like one of those desperate people on a penny treadful hotcopper thread. "ah I will be happy if it goes down, I can buy more!!!!!"

    March quarter up? Do you follow RP Data much? Month of Feb down 1.8%.

    We are down 10% since April 2010 with mining boom going well throughout. Imagine if the mining boom slowed a bit!
