Crisis

Some of the more experienced investors here would appreciate how the best narratives tend to create the biggest winners. This soon to be released Universal Pictures, starring the academy award winning actor Gary Oldman, just came into my feed.

The storyline is set against the backdrop of the opioid epidemic and a university professor who battles unexpected revelations about his employer at a pharmaceutical company bringing a new "non-addictive" painkiller to market.

There has already been plenty of discussion and research references provided on the the opioid crisis (including FDA and WHO). Irrespective, my takeout here is this will only make this discussion even more main stream. Therefore, I'm not going to underestimate the impact that such thematics may have on the general public and future public policy.
