    I continue to monitor RNT, in my view the critical metric for them right now is # listings v REA.

    I picked Northcote, VIC as a friend of mine is looking for a rental there now.

    RNT: 19 results
    REA: 88 results

    They need to recover this ground, otherwise they will be stuck as a niche site for self-managed landlords. They will probably have to give listings to agents for free just to keep enough volume on the site.

    Just IMO but to me this is the most important challenge RNT face right now.
