    The previous Australian government, as we would reasonably expect any Australian government to do, established a Critical Minerals Strategy in 2019 and a $2 billion Critical Minerals Facility in 2021 to which the $5 billion Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (established in 2016) was linked. Not to mention the $1.3 billion Modern Manufacturing Initiative, set up in 2020.

    All of these facilities have been accessed by ARU and many of its peers in critical minerals. They have helped ARU attract foreign interest, including offtaker and ECA interest, in Nolans. But I'm certain you already know that, despite your partisan comments.

    The current Australian government is attempting to build on and refresh and the Critical Minerals Strategy via a discussion paper, as we would reasonably expect any incoming Australian government to do. A good move. Let's see what that brings in new financing facilities and the like.
