No it is not within their power. There is limits. This tax for example should have been to a sovereign wealth fund. the government earn enough in revenue to do the job they have to do. Any excess should be or paid into future funds for taxpayer.


So no they do not have unlimited power, they acting like they do when they really do not and that is a sewrious problem.
