I watched the article on Landline and read the transcript. I believe that there were some basic errors or omissions that should be highlighted.
    1. It said that 270,000 tonnes of Petuna fish suffocated. (I believe that should have been 270t or 270,000 kgs)
    2. The reporter refers to an email but does not put it into context with a date of when sent. Was it sent last month, last year, 5 years ago? This is sloppiness on behalf of the ABC. TGR responded with "a lot of this information is now quite old". I must admit that the TGR response was qualitative, not quantitative - a bad look.

Ok - now for some comments on the article
    a) It was actually positive for TGR. Expansion in Macquarie Harbour has been put on hold due to potential environmental risks. That is good.
    b) There is good community support for the industry in Macquarie Harbour.
    c) TGR was evasive when responding to the Govt report. They should have done a "Turnbull" rather than an "Abbott". I found the response disappointing. If I was Mark Ryan - I would look at replacing the TGR public relations officer - she appears to be mostly spin - this is not a good look.
    d) I found the HUO commentary in moving into open water to be a good response to the Macquarie Harbour issues and potential other quiet water way issues on the East Coast. TGR is following. This is a good risk management strategy from both companies, and should be applauded.

Impact on sp? Hard to tell - but my get feeling is none.
Will it be mentioned at the AGM? Probably. They have some time to change a slide and the transcipt.
