G'day GP. Yes kvanefjeld would be classified as a low-grade rare earth resource.
Tanbreeze would be classified as an ultra low grade resource
However with kvanefjeld its advantage is its ease of extractability of its valuable rare earth basket price. It's host rock is Steenstrupine. Offering an exceptionally low extraction cost undercutting that of even Chinese ionic clays. As a comparison Mount Weld would be extracting at around $10 per kilo while etm would look to extract at On the$6 per kilo. You can see based from this it would take more ore at Kvanefjeld to produce a kilo. But the cost for your net rare earth product. Its vastly less for ETM Due to processing ease. Undercutting some of the best in the Western world and even within China.
As for tanbreez and its ultra low-grade rare earth. This is why no one has financed it for 25 years. Poor drilling results. questionable sources being kept " Confidential". Ultra low grade rare earth and in a host rock which is notorious for difficulties and high cost processing If at all. All of which we can now see is needing to be sampled down to 350 metres or so. Warranting high costs to mine so deep
This was all explained to GBB many times but he insisted it was one of the best in the world. Now that the market is waking up to the truth we can see the share price has crashed 90% which would reflect this understanding.
The market has potentially valued the sale price of 200 million to be more in the realm of 20 million given this outcome
We know that etm has been given evaluation that its resource is about 11 billion. So you can see the vast difference in potential and how gbb will often run away from questionings hoping people don't know better
Unfortunately you can fool some of the people some of the time but based on the market you can't fool all of the people all of the time
Then you need to worry about the uranium present in the licenced area becoming known. Way to high risk for me to get involved with I'd much prefer to invest in etm and I suspect that's why gbb does not investing that money in his own project instead. That basically shows us where he'd preferred to put his money
