they must have known at the time that they drilled through the bottom of zone 1, through the intermediate strata and then into zone 2 but their stated target has always been zone 1. So, what's your guess, please?

Could it be that zone 2 is higher at Kennedy 1? Implications for reserve accumulations? Or did they just change plan last October/November without saying anything then or since? Or are the logs of zone 2 almost indistinguishable from those of zone 1 so that they actually thought at the time that they had found zone 1 again in the lower end of the well? Could it even be that zone 2 bulges up there so that there is virtually no separation?

They haven't said that they will not be fraccing the upper end of the well (zone 1). They have just said that they will start with a multi-frac (4 intervals) of the bottom quarter of the well in zone 2 inserting drillable plugs between the fracs as they work their way apwards (a month just for the current programme??).

Sorry to intrude but this board seems to be a little more focussed on the project. I have a position in EME.
