From the traders point of view, they basically assume that if the gap is closed CRO will take off. However sometimes closing the gap is done by only a handful of shares. So the traders just to be sure they will enter their trade at 7.4c assuming 7.3c might be touched, so not a big risk. This then can lead to the current situation, as in 7.4c being gap support and so the gap may never close!
Sorry I can't be more positive, but than again this could mean "not at this stage!" SP could take off from here, say to reach 8 or 8.3c and then return from there to close the gap anyway. I know I personally very much dislike these situations, but that's the market for you. The best would be to clear the deck, close the gap and move on from there without looking back again!
