This happened late last year when everyone thought the last quarterly was the visa deal, so time will tell. Was a big selloff last time from 5.5 down to the low 3’s. History indicates an announcement is imminent (don’t get $3m+ traded in a day for nothing) so it’s most likely the merger announcement which was ALREADY priced in or they have signed with another major. Neither is concrete conversions into new customers in which CRO generates its revenue so good news will be there could still be time to take a position, worst case it blows up with a significant announcement and then there’s no chance to get back in.
