I did try that one and a few more sites already.
From what I can see from annual reports, original croesus shareholders were diluted by new capital down to 5.7% of their original holding in croesus. (Basically Mark Creasy and Co bought 94% of croesus for $4m) It was then renamed Sirius Resources.
The only way I can think of that I would have lost my holding without any electronic records would be if they were acquired as an unmarketable parcel but I would have thought computershare would still have a record of that.
